Pregnancy Yoga Single Session

Join us for a single pregnancy yoga session on 1/5, 1/12, 1/19 or 1/26. Class is from 1-2:30 pm.

Pregnancy is a special time during which many women experience a deeper connection with their inner wisdom (and growing baby!) as well as a wide spectrum of physical sensations and emotions. These physical and emotional changes can be exciting or  overwhelming or both! Prenatal yoga is one of the best ways to connect with our changing bodies and identities and tap into our own’s as well as the collective wisdom. 

In this workshop, we will explore gentle movement and breathing exercises that stretch, strengthen, and support the pregnant body, and we will practice meditations and restorative poses to nourish and replenish body and mind. 

Join a supportive community of pregnant women to share the beauty of pregnancy; come to one, two, or all sessions! No previous yoga experience necessary. If you have an established yoga practice, this workshop will complement your current practice. All stages of pregnancy welcome.

Anna Aresi is a certified Prana Flow Yoga teacher and was lucky to complete her yoga teacher training while expecting her first child. She credits yoga with empowering her throughout pregnancy and childbirth, and has been researching prenatal yoga since, through personal practice and the shared wisdom of a local community of women who work in the perinatal field. She is currently expecting her second child and is thrilled to offer this workshop to the Jala community and beyond.
